Tell us where and roughly when
Send your dates, who is travelling and the budget you have in mind. Rough is fine at this stage. If your dates can move by a few days, say so, because it often changes the fare more than anything else does.
We come back with options and a total price
Within one business day
Usually two or three routings or itineraries, each showing the fare and the taxes as separate lines so you can see what actually moves the total. Nothing is held or paid for at this point.
You choose and we book it
Before you pay we confirm the deposit, the balance date, the name change rules and what a cancellation would cost. Tickets and confirmations come to you by email the same day they are issued.
We stay with the booking
Schedule changes, seat requests, extra nights and cancellations come back to us rather than to an airline call centre. If something goes wrong outside our hours, deal with the airline at the airport and we pick it up when we open.
Common questions
What does it cost to use a travel agent?
Nothing beyond the cost of the travel itself. We do not charge a booking fee or a consultation fee. We are paid a commission by the airlines, hotels and operators you book through, and that commission is part of the price the supplier already sets rather than something added on top of your quote.
Is it cheaper to just book the flights myself?
Sometimes, and we will tell you when it is. A straightforward return fare on a route you already know is often the same price direct with the airline, and we would rather say so than book it for the sake of it. Where an agent earns their keep is multi-stop trips, group bookings, complicated fare rules, and any trip where something is likely to change.
What areas do you cover?
We are based in Perth and most of our clients fly out of here, but we quote and book for travellers anywhere in Australia. Everything is handled remotely by email, phone and video call, so where you live does not change what we can do for you.
How far ahead should I book?
For school holidays, December and January out of Perth, six to nine months ahead is normal, because the seats on the popular routes go first and the cheap fare buckets close early. For off-peak travel two to three months is usually enough. If your dates are fixed by a wedding or an event, book as soon as the date is.
Do you arrange travel insurance?
We will ask whether you have cover before you pay a deposit, and we will tell you what to check in a policy: pre-existing conditions, the activities you have planned, and whether the cancellation limit actually covers what your trip costs. We do not give personal advice on which policy suits you, so read the product disclosure statement before you buy.
What happens if my flight is cancelled while I am away?
Contact us first during our opening hours and we will rebook you or start the refund, because we can see the booking and you will not be in a call centre queue. Outside those hours, deal with the airline at the airport and send us the details, and we pick it up when we open. We do not claim to answer at 3am, and you should be careful of anyone who does.
